Terms of Use
Last updated September 2026
By downloading or using Sliced Body (the “app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
Educational use only — not medical advice
Sliced Body is an educational anatomy visualisation tool. It is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or any medical decision-making. Anatomical labels are auto-segmented and approximate. Always consult a qualified professional for medical questions. You use the app's content at your own discretion.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own educational and reference use, subject to the App Store Terms of Service.
Acceptable use
- Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law expressly permits it.
- Don't redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or its bundled data as a standalone dataset.
- Don't use the app in any unlawful way or to present its content as clinical guidance.
Imaging data & attribution
The app's imagery is drawn from public-domain and permissively-licensed sources, with automated anatomical labels. These sources are credited in the app and on our overview page. Their respective licences continue to apply to the underlying data.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of anatomical content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
